A Message from the President:
Hello and welcome to Phi Mu at Brenau University! On behalf of our chapter, I am truly honored and excited to introduce you to the heart of our sisterhood. Phi Mu is built on our founding values of love, honor, and truth but more than that, it is built on women who show up for one another every single day. We strive to become the best versions of ourselves, not only individually, but for each other. Our chapter is rooted in encouragement, accountability, and genuine care. Founded in 1852 at Wesleyan College in Georgia, Phi Mu is the second-oldest women’s fraternity in the nation, and our Brenau chapter proudly carries that legacy forward. Here, sisterhood is more than wearing the same letters, it is a true sense of belonging. We are women with different passions, majors, talents, and personalities, yet we are united by a bond that feels like home. Academic excellence is something we deeply value. We hold one another to high standards because we believe in each other’s potential. From study sessions to celebrating GPA achievements and personal milestones, we recognize that every accomplishment big or small deserves to be honored. Our philanthropy, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals specifically Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is incredibly meaningful to us. Supporting children and families facing unimaginable challenges reminds us of the impact we can have when we come together with purpose. Whether we are fundraising, volunteering, or raising awareness, service is at the core of who we are. Leadership in Phi Mu is not defined by a title; it is defined by action. Our members lead with integrity, kindness, and confidence whether they are representing our chapter, serving on campus, or simply uplifting those around them. What I love most about Phi Mu is the unwavering support. These women have challenged me, strengthened me, and believed in me even when I doubted myself. They have shown me what true friendship looks like and have given me a place I will always call home. Phi Mu has shaped me into a stronger leader and a better woman. Going Greek has been one of the most meaningful parts of my time at Brenau. This community is special, and I truly believe there is a place for everyone. My hope is that you find a home that challenges you, supports you, and helps you grow into the woman you are meant to become. Being a Phi Mu is not simply joining an organization, it is becoming part of something greater than yourself.
